文治书院成立于2007年，以著名国学大师、教育家、交通大学老校长唐文治先生的名字命名 。现有本科生2600余名，涵盖机械学院、能动学院、人居学院、化工学院、材料学院、航天学院等多个学院学生。

建设由辅导员、班主任、学业导师、兼职辅导员、校外辅导员等组成的多维复合型思政工作队伍。师生共处、知行兼修，横向交融、纵向贯通，使书院成为教育教学改革背景下，解决“通专融合”、师生交流、不同专业学生相互融合等问题的有效依托。

书院指导成立团工委、学生会、党建办、宿生会、治学团、凤凰社、文治足球队、西迁精神宣讲践行团、文治精神谱系宣讲团等学生组织和社团共9个；建有研林工作室、“文言文”工作室两个校级辅导员工作室；有副教授1名、讲师9名、助教2名，其中获全国高校辅导员年度人物提名1人，陕西省优秀辅导员称号的辅导员2名。

书院秉承“欲成第一等学问、事业、人才，必先砥励第一等品行”育人理念，围绕立德树人中心任务，弘扬“爱国奋斗”西迁精神，讲好“文治故事”，践行“四个一百”。依托“悦享读”“知书达理赛书会”系列，培养有书卷气的文治学子；举办“麦穗堂”“文心下午茶”“双青十月谈”等分享主题沙龙，师友相携，砥砺相长；组织“新生访新港”“非物质文化遗产传承”“爱心护理志愿服务”等特色实践，鼓励学生行大地、历青春；选树“文治榜样”，用同辈榜样的力量引领书院文化风向。

Founded in 2007, Wenzhi College was named after Mr. Tang Wenzhi, a famous master of sinology, great educator and ex-chancellor of Jiaotong University. Located at the southwest of Xi’an Jiaotong University Xingqing Campus, Wenzhi College owns an independent building named “First Class Court”. Currently, there are approximately 2,600 undergraduates with 7 different programs — mechanical engineering, energy and power engineering, human settlements and civil engineering, chemical engineering and technology, materials science and engineering, aerospace engineering, electronic and information engineering, and law.

      The college consists various public space for students such as the Party caucus room, the audio-visual room for ideological and political work, the academic counseling center, the career-development instruction room for college students, a talk room, the Wenxin tearoom, a reading corner named “Joy to Read” , and etc. There is a multi-dimensional and integrated ideological and political work team with thirteen members. Within this team, there are leading instructors from each program, academic mentors, part-time counselors, off-campus counselors, etc. The goal of Wenzhi College is to facilitate interaction between teachers and students, to combine well knowledge and practice, to improve multi-dimensional commutation and collaborations with students and professionals with various backgrounds.

  Wenzhi College comes with strong faith in education with the quote from Mr. President Tang Wenzhi “Only after men have cultivated fine moral characters, can they become learned men, grow into talents and be successful in their careers.” With this belief, the college focuses on moral education, vigorously promoting the Western Relocation of national hardworking spirits, high raising the “Four Banners”, sharing “the stories of Wenzhi”, and fulfilling the “Four Hundreds” educational project.

      Lead by the Constitution from the Community Party of China, Wenzhi College always remember the goals to educate youth with strong responsibilities to the nation and society, and to educate youth to become elites in the tomorrow. Based on the Constitution from the Community Party of China, the college is intended to innovate the fundamental organization structure frame with format of building work based on the Student Party Building Office. Promoting the national hard-working spirit as the main theme, there organize a variety of activities to encourage the student party members to demonstrate their responsibility for self-education and self-care. And also, the college cultivates students’ social responsibilities through team collaboration instructed by the Constitution of the Community Party of China, social practice, government internships, voluntary service, cultural communication and other activities.       Surrounding students, close to students and care of students.Wenzhi College enhances the three-level counseling system of “professional teacher guidance, counselor assistance, and peer counseling”. Through listen-to-the-heart conversations, instructors can adopt a three-level conversation network of ordinary conversation, focused regard, and crisis intervention. There are four counselor workrooms, including Yanlin Workroom, Classical Chinese Workroom, Budding Workroom, and Zhixing Workroom, to serve the students’ individual needs.       Culture immersion, characteristic formation and character development.Inspried with the spirits of national, group collaboration, hero-like and optimism, the students can participate the activities to read 100 classics, get to know 100 teachers, listen to 100 reports, and join 100 activities (“Four Hundreds” educational project, Guoguo pictures, comprehensive ability courses, etc.). There are several featured activities in the college as well, such as “100 Classes read 100 Classics”, “Enjoy Reading” book sharing meeting, “Teachers and Peers Reading Guidance Meeting”, and “Reflections on the 100 Classics”. There is also a project of “Twelve Sights of Wenzhi” intends to improve the comprehensive ability of the students, forming a new pattern of cultural education centered on “modeling minds, regulating behaviors, cultivating culture and building environment”.

The college builds a self-regulated student community with the Party branch as the guide and the student union, the youth league working committee, and the dormitory union as the main body to improve the awareness of self- exploration and self-serving of students. Prefund communication, cooperation, and mutual learning. In 2014, Wenzhi College, collabrated with Zhixing College of Beihang University, Renzhong College of Fudan University, Mengxiancheng College of East China Normal University, Houde College of Tsing Hua University, Chengchi College of Chengchi University, United College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Zhengyutong College of University of Macau, to form the University College Alliance and became the permanent member. In 2015, Wenzhi College and Caoguangbiao College of University of Macau established a sister-college relationship and have organized regular exchange visits among the students ever since.

We study in Wenzhi, recreate in Wenzhi, and grow up in Wenzhi. Integrating the resources among inside and outside the university, collaborating with the schools and the functional departments, and gathering both internal and external strength, the college follows the “Three Holistics” educational philosophy throughout the process of ideological and political education, cultural education and social practice education. The college also vigorously advocates the special culture of “intelligence, vitality, responsibility, kindness, and mutual assistance”, and strives to cultivate a new generation with fully development in morality, intelligence, sports, aesthetics and work.
